RouteBuddy Geo-URL blogging script

The two little scripts (one for ecto and the other for MarsEdit) you can download by clicking here, will let you add a Geo-URL as I call it (Sharing RouteBuddy URLs) with in your blog entry, that will then show that location with in RouteBuddy.

What applications will I need to blog?
- Google Earth
- ecto or MarsEdit

What applications will I need to view the locations in?
- RouteBuddy


How to install these scripts:

- ecto
Copy into: ~/Library/Application Support/ecto/scripts/
or
On the menu bar of ecto: Scripts > Open Scripts Folder. Then drag and drop the scipt into the folder.

- MarsEdit
Copy into: ~/Library/Application Support/MarsEdit/scripts/
or
On the menu bar of MarsEdit: Script icon > Open Scripts Folder. Then drag and drop the scipt into the folder.


How to use:

- Google Earth
Whatever you are zoomed into in Google Earth, this script will capture.

- ecto or MarsEdit
On the menu bar: Scripts > Google Earth - RouteBuddy Geo-URL.

- RouteBuddy
When some one click on your RouteBuddy URL link with in your blog entry, RouteBuddy will then open up and display that location.
