I have two questions about the maps you are offering (currently looking at picking up a copy of Scandinavia)
- How often are the maps updated? And are updates free?
If the updates to us were free then we'd certainly be able to pass that benefit on!

Unfortunately they're not so when we do update our maps we'll need to charge an
update fee; however we are very confident we'll be more competitive than any
other digital map supplier on Mac or PC. Later this year we plan to release
subscription mapping so that RouteBuddy users can take advantage of regular
updates to their map data.
Any news on topo maps? Will topo maps for Scandinavia be included?
We had planned to start work on topo maps for early this year but developing our
proprietary subscription engine put that back. We now plan that by the latter part of this year
we can start offering topographical maps. Initially support will be for US topo maps which we'll
follow on with other countries.
If I buy a map now then I'm basicly going to have to buy the topo map when it's released?
Yes, it's a different map. The current ones we sell are road maps and the topo ones will be mainly DRG with
some vector data available.
Are the maps single file downloads or several files?
Single.
What's the coverage for Japan, and will the map Japan be added in the future?
We aim to release an Atlas map of Japan later this year, but will look to obtain road map data of
Japan as well.
What kinds of POIs are included? (hotels, dining, etc.)
If you look at the RouteBuddy Demo and the sample Santa Fe map then that will give you an idea
of the POIs offered. In the future we'll be able to expand upon these sets and once we open up the
facility to export users own POIs then you'll be able to send and share your own POI data.
